A large
mixed used development with over 1000 residential units at the historic
dockyard at Chatham. The site is very sensitive from a planning point
of view as all the buildings have listed status and in addition there
are 42 Scheduled Ancient Monuments. The dockyards are seeking World
Heritage status.
GMA Architecture is part of a consortium and is responsible for the
design of three mixed use blocks containing more than 300 apartments
next to the listed Slips Buildings and overlooking the River Medway.
